The Waterproof Backup Battery
This is the mobile device backup battery that withstands submersion in 3′ of water for 30 minutes. The unit’s double injection-molded case and gasket-sealed interior achieve an Ingress Protection rating of IP67—the highest possible rating for preventing penetration from dust and second highest for water.
When fully charged, its three internal 2600mAh lithium-ion batteries recharge a smartphone three times and an iPad twice via its USB and microUSB ports and the included USB/microUSB cable. About the size of a smartphone, the backup battery stores unobtrusively in a pocket or travel bag. LEDs on the case indicate the amount of power left in the backup battery and it recharges in seven hours via USB.
