Acer today presented the Aspire 8920G, world’s first notebook with six integrated speakers.
The Aspire Gemstone blue design integrates the second generation Dolby Home Theater technology with powerful audio technologies – CineSurround, Tuba CineBass booster, and True5.1 output. The specially crafted tube-style Acer Tuba CineBass subwoofer exceeds 10 W, blasting the clearest low tones imaginable via Dolby Natural Bass technology.
The Aspire 8920G is the world’s first notebook to feature actual, built-in multi-speaker True5.1 surround sound through six integrated speakers, making it the ideal choice for Full HD movies and gaming.
The system is shipped with a choice of graphics engines and can be equipped with either the NVIDIA GeForce 9650M GS graphics engine with up to 1280 MB of TurboCache (512 MB of dedicated GDDR3 VRAM, up to 768 MB of shared system memory) or by the NVIDIA GeForce 9500M GS with up to 1280 MB of TurboCache (512 MB of dedicated GDDR2 VRAM, up to 768 MB of shared system memory). Both of them support NVIDIA PureVideo HD technology, Shader Model 4.0 and Microsoft DirectX 10.
It features a generous HDD space of up to 640GB (2x320GB) and a Blu-Ray Discs. It integrat a TV Tuner and comes bundled with a VoIP Bluetooth phone
