In tests by the Hammacher Schlemmer Institute, this unit removed wrinkles from a silk scarf, wool pants, and rayon blouse in under two minutes—less than half the time required by lesser models. It removed wrinkles from a cotton dress shirt in under four minutes, far superior to models that required over 10 minutes. The steamer heats up quickly, emitting steam in less than a minute, and produces up to 150° F steam, the hottest of any model tested.
