This is a genuine Polaroid SX-70 camera restored to its original functionality to ensure the same exact picture-taking experience for which it was revered. Invented in 1972 and considered the camera that revolutionized instant photography, the SX-70 was the first instant SLR ever made and the first to use Polaroid’s iconic instant film which brought 3 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ photographs to life the instant they left its aperture. Painstakingly restored by hand, this camera still folds down and pops up, provides single-lens reflex, manual focus, and a lighten/darken wheel.
