this is the wooden sled handmade in the Austrian Alps. It is produced in Tyrol by a family-owned company that has been handcrafting sleds since 1886—when they were the primary mode of transportation used to descend the mountains. Ideal for schussing in the Salzkammergut, its up-turned runners are made from solid ash with 1 1/4″ stainless steel rails on the bottom that provide smooth gliding and precise handling over packed snow or ice.
