The NASA Ferrofuel Moving Vortex
This is the interactive display filled with ferrofluid—a substance originally developed by NASA as rocket fuel for spacecrafts. The black liquid spirals up the center post when the unit attaches to its removable magnetic base. The ferrofluid can be manipulated to flow, dance, or form geometric spikes using an included neodymium magnet. Includes LED light at the top (with button cell battery).
