Manufactured in Italy from cast iron and stainless steel, this is the electric tomato press that processes 9 lbs. of cooked tomatoes in one minute. Developed in Turin by a kitchen appliance company with a rich history dating back to the 1900s, it uses a 300-watt motor to squeeze tomatoes into smooth passata di Pomodoro. Its auger spins at 100 rpms, pressing tomatoes into a puree for homemade sauces or fresh soup. The machine automatically strains out seeds, peels, and pulp through its stainless steel mesh screen and delivers the tomato’s silky flesh and juice through a chute to be caught in a bowl or a pot.
