This is the world’s only hanging zome. Its design and unconventional name derive from elements of Buckminster Fuller’s geodesic dome and geometric zonohedrons. Found in nature in the shape of pineapples, pinecones, and artichokes, and often used by modern architects and furniture designers, zomes are similar to domes but possess a robust geometry of formula and pattern. Created by Kodama Zomes, this pillow-filled pod soothes the vestibular system by providing an unparalleled experience of peacefully rocking back and forth while immersed in a plush cocoon of comfort. The zome suspends from an included curved tripod stand that is constructed with a powder-coated steel frame secured with marine grade stainless steel. Ideal for indoor or outdoor use, the gravity-propelled oasis encourages tranquility with its natural geometric shape and supports up to 600 lbs. Its 4″-plump high density filled cushions are upholstered with an outdoor fabric designed for longevity.
