The Authentic Wine Barrel Cabinet
This is the authentic red wine barrel that has been expertly transformed into a wine lover’s storage and serving cabinet. Sourced from the vineyards of California’s renowned Napa Valley, skilled artisan woodworkers in the Bow Valley of Western Alberta expertly refashion each barrel to create a unique cellarette that stands at a relaxed quaffing height. A fixed rack in the floor of the cabinet holds an entire case of a prized vintage and a rack inside each hinged door suspends four wine glasses (not included). Preserved in its natural state, the oak barrel’s interior displays a distinctive color, scent, and grain pattern that provides clues about the wine it once contained. A special linseed oil is applied to the exterior to enhance and protect the rustic beauty of the natural oak.
