Remove the outer and inner covers. Pour water into the reservoir until it reaches the max fill line. Add 5–7 drops of essential oil to the water. You may add more or less, depending on your preference. Put the covers back on. Plug the adapter into the diffuser and plug the adapter into an outlet. TO CLEAN: recommend wiping out the reservoir at least once every 2 weeks. Clean the membrane once every 2-3 weeks, depending on your usage
