The Navigable Water Park
This is the waterborne jungle gym that maneuvers into place with an integrated 25-hp outboard motor. Two Olympic-grade trampolines—7′ x 10′ and 8′ x 8’—launch jumpers safely into the water with polypropylene bouncing surfaces supported by sturdy 8″ galvanized steel springs. An enclosed 24″-diam. spiralling slide deposits riders 2′ above the water and a rope swing descends from a retractable crane that adjusts to four angles, enabling swingers to jump from a higher or lower deck. Its modular high-density polyethylene base provides stable marine-grade buoyancy for three aluminum decks that secure to the base with stainless steel plates. The decks are floored with artificial turf and are accessed by stainless steel staircases and 48″-high handrails to provide access to the park’s amusements. Swimmers reboard via two retractable aluminum wet steps.
