The London Bus Mamod Steam Engine

This is the working model replica of a London double-decker bus from the early 20th Century. Made by famous English toy manufacturer Mamod, the model is a modern reproduction of an B-type bus from the London General Omnibus Company that operated between 1911-1930s. Bearing advertisements in the style of Edwardian England, its red bodywork and black, spoked wheels replicate the markings of its real-world counterpart that plied London’s streets.

This model accepts ordinary tap water poured into its boiler. Two to three of the 20 included fuel tablets placed into its burner tray heat the boiler’s water supply, providing up to 15 minutes of operation.
