The Underwater Live Video Drone
This is the remote operated submersible drone that sends live first-person-view video to a waterproof controller from up to 65′ underwater. Ideal for exploring marine life and shipwrecks, or inspecting a boat below the waterline, the drone is tethered to its receiver on deck by a 65′ video cable. Its marine-grade ABS housing provides a watertight seal for the included HD camera that captures the beauty beneath the surface at 1280 x 720 resolution. Video is immediately displayed on the remote’s 7″ color LED monitor or saved to a microSD card up to 64 GB (not included). Providing simple one-person operation, the remote uses one joystick to control the drone’s thrust and direction while another joystick controls depth. A static diving system enables the submarine to hover underwater as well as travel at up to two knots. On-board sensors detect low battery, weak signal, or leakage and automatically surface the drone.
