The Children’s 1967 Shelby Mustang GT 500
This is the child’s electric two-seater that salutes the 50th anniversary of the legendary 1967 Shelby GT 500 Mustang convertible. Young motorheads are sure to draw envious stares as they cruise down the sidewalk in this rarest-of-all Shelby Mustangs—only one was ever produced. Price $399.95
A shifter lets young drivers select speed (1.8 or 3.2 mph) and gear (forward or reverse). A press of the foot pedal sets the Mustang’s plastic tires with rubber traction strip in motion; releasing the pedal brings the car to a safe stop. The car features fully functioning side doors, working front headlights, and revving engine and horn sounds, while the hood opens to reveal a pretend, but nonetheless impressive, large-block V8 engine. This miniature muscle car stays true to its Shelby heritage with a candy apple red paint job, spoked wheel rims, roll bar, and the iconic Shelby Cobra logo on the gear shift.
