This is the cooling vest that combines evaporative and phase change technologies to provide optimal cooling in arid, hot climates. Immersed for one-to two minutes, the vest’s polymer fabric rapidly absorbs and retains water, which evaporates over time, naturally drawing heat away from the body to keep you up to 20° F cooler than the outside air temperature. For high-humidity environments, the vest’s pockets accommodate four included cooling packs that use a proprietary phase change material that freezes faster—also activates in streams that are colder than 58° F—and stays cold longer than water to maintain a 58° F temperature for up to three hours.
