Crafted from solid wood and designed by a master jamón carver in the small village of La Maya, this is the authentic Spanish jamonero.
A traditional holder for displaying and slicing whole Spanish cured hams, with a unique rotating clamp that secures the hoof while allowing the ham to be shifted to the desired cutting angle, providing seamless access to the babilla, maza, and punta zones of a jamón Ibérico or serrano without stopping to unclamp, turn, and resecure the leg in the holder.
Elegant enough for the several weeks each jamón may be set out on a tabletop and slowly carved and enjoyed, the holder is hewn from sustainable sapele, a hardwood used in fine cabinetry because of its attractive ribbon grain. Price $899.95
