The Intruder Discouraging Television Mimic
Unlike timers that just turn lights on and off, this device mimics the flickering glow of a television to dissuade burglars who may be sizing up potential homes for thievery. Installed just out-of-sight near a window, its built-in microchip simulates the scene changes, fades, swells, and color shifts of a TV as perceived from outside using a bright multi-color LED display diffused with an opalescent lens.
Its light sensor automatically turns the device on at dusk and turns off after two, four, or six hours—ideal for providing the false impression of an evening spent watching TV. Can also be turned on manually for continuous operation. Sets on a shelf or secures to wall with included hanging hole or its integrated mounting tape.
