The battery has 4 light modes which can easily be changed by the touch of a button. In its brightest mode it gives of plenty of light to change your tire by or find things in the dark and can last for up to 4 hours. It will last for up to 8 hours on half power and 16 hours of use can be hand when on its lowest light setting which is fine for camping out in the wilds.
