The Professional Shuffleboard
This is the professional shuffleboard used in tournaments sanctioned by the Table Shuffleboard Association. Crafted from solid wood and made to the exacting standards of tournament play, the table has a 3″-thick kiln-dried hard rock solid maple playing surface with 90° edges—not beveled—allowing pucks to hang for perfectly placed shots.
A team of eight craftsmen build each table over four weeks, carefully assembling the finger-jointed boards, dovetail joints, solid poplar horse collar, and corners milled from a single piece of wood—a feature unique to this shuffleboard. The playing surface‘s polymer finish allows pucks to slide smoothly at the proper pace and is the same one used for tournaments.
The table has mahogany, golden maple, and natural stains that create a rich, deep contrast and accentuate the wood grain. An electronic scoreboard hangs over the playing surface and tracks games to 15 or 21 and points can be added or deducted via the buttons at both ends of the table.
