The Star Wars Battling Fighters Set
This is the slot car set that re-creates the thrilling Death Star “Trench Run” from the final moments of Star Wars: Episode IV. With one driver piloting Luke Skywalker’s “Red Five” X-Wing and another giving chase in Darth Vader’s TIE Advanced fighter, this set challenges combatants with ships that are slightly wider than the track. If Vader catches up to Luke, the Rebels’ new hope will be nudged off the track – unless the young Jedi can send the Sith Lord spinning into space first. Integral LEDs in the ships light up when racing, and the 12-foot figure-eight track bears glow-in the-dark striping for nighttime runs.
