The Nitecore SRT3 Defender features the third generation Smart Selector Ring technology and an advanced XM-L2 LED.
The unique interface features a tail switch for one handed momentary and constant on. The tail switch is coupled with the revolutionary Smart Selector Ring (SSR) located near the bezel. A twist of the ring moves the user easily through outputs modes. The modes include red and blue LED settings, a police warning signal, a brilliant strobe, SOS beacon, a turbo output, and perhaps best of all, a variable output.
The SRT3 allows a variety of power sources. A single lithium CR123A or Li-Ion RCR123A fits the light for the most powerful outputs. An included body extender can also be fitted to the light for more widely available single AA power! The extender features the same durable aluminum construction and anodized finish as the rest of the light.
