Just place the battery-operated pump into a large container filled with water, and run tubing from the automatic plant watering system to each plant, cutting enough tube to comfortably reach soil and securing in place with included peg.
Timer can be programmed to adjust the amount of water and frequency of watering, anywhere from 5 times a day to once a week.
